Robert Lippok (born 1966 in East Berlin) is a German musician, composer, visual artist, and stage designer known for his experimental approach to electronic music and multimedia art.
In the early 1980s, Lippok co-founded the band Ornament und Verbrechen with his brother Ronald, blending post-punk and industrial sounds using unconventional instruments and DIY electronics. In 1995, the brothers teamed up with bassist Stefan Schneider to form To Rococo Rot—a trio that fused krautrock, electronica, and post-rock—releasing music on labels like Kitty-Yo, City Slang, and Domino Records until their disbandment in 2014.
Beyond music, Lippok is an accomplished visual and sound artist, creating installations that explore spatial sound and architecture. His works have been exhibited at venues like the Neue Nationalgalerie in Berlin and the Haus der Kunst in Munich.
