Uncompromising and steadfast, whether in the DJ booth, performing live, or producing music, Majdolen takes listeners on a journey of overlapping stories that expand progressively with her delicate yet powerful style, drawing inspiration from different times, sounds, and genres, through a mesmerising approach that manifests the same aesthetics in every performative form. Originating from Syria, Majdolen sought refuge in Germany, eventually finding solace and inspiration in Berlin, the city nurtured her artistic growth and immersed her in the Berliner club scene. She became a pillar of the city’s queer community and underground club scene, where she curates events and nights, playing in most of the city’s clubs, as well as outside of Berlin and Germany. As a Riot resident, she has solidified her presence in the scene, bringing her distinctive sound to diverse audiences. Following the release of her debut EP “Spirals” on Umay Works, she quickly gained recognition within the electronic music community, solidifying her status as an influential producer. Majdolen’s music carries hidden imagery within its intricate layers, crafting the sonic narratives that transcend language and touch the very core of human experience. Through her music, she evokes a multitude of sensations, creating a unique experience for each person to enjoy, while simultaneously fostering a feeling of togetherness among everyone.
