Emilia Álvarez aka EMLKL3R

Emilia Álvarez is a multidisciplinary artist and techno producer from Argentina. As EMLKL3R, she performs live hardware sets that fuse club-driven techno with elements of noise, darkwave, house, and hardcore. In her practice, Emilia explores silence, sound, and the act of listening across diverse formats and mediums. She also leads Technoreadings, a series of listening and movement sessions that combine field recordings, voices, vinyl, and electronic production, evoking the energy of the club in non-club environments. She has performed at festivals such as MUTEK, and at venues including Artlab, Niceto Club, Radio CASo (AR), Café OTO (UK), Kyoto Art Center (JP), HÖR, About Blank (Berlin), Tinguely Fountain (CH), among others.
